Komodo
Komodo is a must visit if you are considering sailing Indonesia. Komodo National Park offers an incredibly unique underwater environment as well as the chance to see the prehistoric Komodo Dragons. These volcanic islands are inhabited by over 5,700 lizards - so your chances of spotting some are high!
The waters of Komodo are crystal clear; perfect if you are expecting to see the thousands of different species of fish, dive with manta rays, dolphins and spot schools of tuna.
Normally departing from Labuan Bajo, there are a vast array of yachts available to charter allowing you to explore away from the busy crowds in the comfort of your own luxury yacht.
Pink Beach
Yes, it really is as pink as the pictures!
Pink beach gets its amazing colour from microscopic animals called Foraminifera, which produces a red pigment on the coral reefs.
The breath-taking Pink Beach also has to be on the list of highlights that Indonesia has to offer. The corals of the pink beach band together to create exciting and unique underwater coral gardens. The water is guaranteed to be some of the clearest waters you will swim in, making it an ideal, safe snorkelling and beginners dive spot.
Pink beach is only accessible via boat and is completely free to visit.
Padar Island
If you are on the hunt for an unforgettable view during your Indonesian yacht charter, Padar Island is one to add to your itinerary. Perfect for hiking enthusiasts, but accessible for beginners too, the experience is one you wont forget.
Once at the top, you are able to look across all 3 bays of Padar Island, the turquoise waters and multiple other islands and beaches.
Similarly to Pink Beach, Padar Island is also only accessible via boat so is the perfect addition to your yacht charter.
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is a small island off the East Coast of Bali and is home to incredible white, sandy beaches and some of the most photogenic sights Indonesia has to offer.
There are several restaurants and hotels on the island, a great place to soak up the Indonesian culture and connect with the locals but if you are looking to explore the beaches of the islands the best way to do so is by boat.
Kelingking Beach
Kelingking beach is one of the most famous spots on Nusa Penida.
Its unique rock formations resemble the backbone of a dinosaur, and it's even nicknamed T-Rex Bay on Google Maps and to many travellers. Because of this, it is often incredibly busy during high season, but the views and the beach make it completely worth the potential crowds.
In order to access the beach, you will have to take a 20-30 min walk down to the bottom via the narrow and steep footpaths. Unfortunately, as of February 2023, swimming is no longer permitted on the beach, but it is still definitely worth the visit for some incredible views and an unforgettable hiking experience.
Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is one of the most unique beaches on Nusa Penida with it's famous views of the ocean from the white limestone stairs that have been carved out of the cliff. Access to the beach is an easy few minutes walk down to the bottom where you'll be greated with a long stretch of white sand, palm trees, rock pools and glistening turquoise sea.
This is the perfect place if you are looking for a clean, photogenic beach perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
Angels Billabong & Broken Beach
Angels Billabong is a natural wonder located on the Island of Nusa Penida. The unique rock formation nestled away on the island's southwestern coast, forms a natural infinity pool overlooking the vast Indian Ocean.
During your visit to Angels Billabong, Broken Beach is also worth a visit. It is a secluded cove with no access to the sea, but a fantastic view from viewing area above.

Raja Ampat
Translating to “The Four Kings” in Bahasa Indonesia, Raja Ampat refers to the four main islands of Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool.
Raja Ampat is home to captivating scenery, incredible diving and exuberant nature with vast expanses of mangroves, tropical reefs and white sandy beaches.
Raja Ampat sits just outside the western tip (right by the ‘beak’) Sorong which is the main port of entry. The town has all the basic facilities to supply any visiting vessel.
Anchoring is generally prohibited in Raja Ampat so it is important to use moorings where possible.
Salawati
Salawati is the third largest island in Raja Ampat with great reliable weather all year round. This island has something for everyone with fantastic sunbathing, snorkelling and swimming spots as well as historical sites for those who are looking to learn about the culture and history of Raja Ampat.
Salawati is most famous for its abundant species of flora and fauna and is a great place for birdwatching.
If you are new to diving but want to try whilst on your yacht charter, there are many dive spots that are safe for those looking to learn.
Waigeo
Waigeo is the largest of the archipelago’s four main islands and is also known as Amberi.
The jungle interior makes it a great place to visit and see the world renowned crimson Bird-of Paradise along with opossums, giant monitor lizards, snakes and honeyeaters.
One of the most popular activities of the islands however is the deep sea diving and snorkelling. Its astonishing marine life makes it an unforgettable diving location. Along Waiwo Beach, at a depth of around 30 meters you may be able to spot white tip reef sharks and other exotic sea creatures such as sea dragons, pygmy sea horses, green seat turtles and Indian lionfish.
Misool Island
Misool Island is home too many aquatic species such as whales. Misool is a remote island and because of this, has become popular amongst those keen to explore the underwater life. It was once heavily occupied by shark fishing camps but now serves as a nursery for baby sharks. Sharks returned to the reefs in order to help restore the balance in the ecosystems and have multiplied 25 times more than a decade ago.
The only way to explore Misool Island is by sea, a great addition to add to your yacht charter if you are looking to venture off the beaten path.
Bantana
Bantana is one of the 4 major islands in Raja Ampat. The rough coastline offers countless bays lined with untouched mangroves while the entire interior of the island is covered in pristine Papuan rainforest.
Step onto the remote island and begin your hike up stream where you can discover multiple waterfalls and photograph areas covered in dragonflies and butterflies.

West Papua
Teluk Cenderawasih National Park, Duairi
One of the most incredible excursions to embark on in West Papua is to swim with whale sharks. The most common place to find the magnificent species is Teluk Cenderawasih National Park, Duairi, West Papua.
We recommended that you begin your guided tour as early as possible as they are most frequently seen during the early hours of the mornings. You can dive and snorkel with the whale sharks but it is important to note that you should not feed the sharks and should stay at least 5 metres apart from them as they pass.
Whale Sharks are widely known as gentle giants, but it is crucial to respect them and their habitat if you wish to spot them.
