Expect settled weather, and some good light wind sailing past beautiful beaches on the generally tame Adriatic.
Sailing Conditions in Pula
Istria's peak yacht charter season brings warm sailing conditions with summery highs of 35°C and an average of 24°C throughout peak sailing months.
Wind and tidal conditions are reliable and predictable, with enjoyable, mild Maestral (NW), Bura (NE) and Jugo (SE) breezes across most of the sailing season.
The exceptions are the very rare Tramontana, Ponente and Nevera winds that can appear suddenly, so it pays to keep a weather eye on the weather!

Useful guides
We have excellent relationships with the fleet operators in the region's two primary yacht charter hubs, with ultra modern marina facilities at ACI Marina Pula and ACI Marina Pomer, at the southern tip of the peninsula. Both marinas are perfectly positioned for a catamaran, motor yacht or sailing boat charter north towards Veli Brijun, Rovinj and Slovenia, or south to the impressively untouched Kornati island chain.
We recommend booking early to secure your boat of choice though, as there are fewer yachts in north Croatia than you'd find further down the Adriatic coast.
A Pula yacht charter will show you the endless charm of the Istrian coast, from atmospheric bays in picturesque Lošinj to swims beneath ancient rock formations and luxuriate in quiet nighttime anchorages in the blissful Brijuni National Park.
