About CARTE BLANCHE

Best for: couples or small groups of friends seeking a polished Greek island escape, with small families a close second.

Carte Blanche is a 2006 Ferretti motor yacht based in Athens, and her standout quality is the crew behind her: Captain Spyridon Kirikos brings 15 years of professional experience across Greece and the wider Mediterranean, holding RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification and a background in VIP hospitality and guest security that sets a noticeably refined tone on board. Stewardess Vasiliki Sklavou adds nearly 20 years in luxury tourism and five-star service, meaning the two-person crew punches well above what you might expect on a 56-foot yacht. With 11 charters logged, she is a proven, well-run boat.

She sleeps up to 6 guests across three en-suite staterooms: one master cabin and two twins, one of which converts to a double on request. The captain's encyclopaedic knowledge of Greek cruising grounds, from the Cyclades and Ionian Islands to the Dodecanese and Crete, means itineraries are genuinely tailored rather than off-the-shelf. Small groups who want thoughtful, personal service and a captain who knows Greek waters thoroughly will feel immediately at home.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
