The Route
DAY
Kos to Symi
After meeting your skipper and settling in to your new home for the next 7 days. Start your trip with an intention, such as ‘I will unplug’ or ‘I am grateful’. Visit LynnYannYoga in Kos where all levels are welcome and enjoy your practice overlooking the sea. Following this you can replenish with a fresh juice and greek salad in the popular beach restaurant next door, Tam Tam. Kos is like stepping into a history book, the perfect place to immerse yourself in history and culture. Walk through the ancient ruins and along high castle walls such as the Nerantzia!
DAY
Symi to Rhodes
Symi is one of the most precious gems in the Dodecanese Islands. A truly pretty island with small coves and stunning sunset gazing viewpoints. There are taverns offering delicious food, such as Taverna O Haris who serve the best seafood risotto on the island. Eva Coffe Bar in Yalos city is opposite the statue in the harbour. Enjoy a coffee with the owners' signature tiramisu! It’s got style, ambience, comfy chairs and mellow music. Symi wellbeing centre is run by two wonderful ladies who hold yoga classes from vinyasa to ariel yoga. They also offer massages and meditation sessions so you will be sure to leave rejuvenated. There are plenty of snorkelling and diving sites in Symi that are just waiting for you: Nimos Caverns, Nana Shipwreck and Turtle Beach are all stunning options.
DAY
Rhodes to Tilos
Head to Drolma Ling Yoga Retreat Centre on the west side of Rhodes, in the traditional Greek village of Theologos. This would be the perfect spot to unwind during your charter! This is where you can take an easy and spiritual kundalini class followed by calm abiding meditation. The current yoga teacher there is even available to provide a private yoga sessions on board the yacht offering massages as well as yoga! Find your traditional Greek experience here in Rhodes by visiting Greek Spirit for dinner. The restaurant opened in 2003 and is famous for its greek dancing and plate smashing - not to be missed!
DAY
Tilos to Nisyros
A real opportunity for stillness. Tilos is a haven of tranquility that will give you the chance for ultimate relaxation on board your yacht or the secluded beaches. You’ll find cute cobblestone streets and tiny chapels as you navigate this island. We recommend stopping by Faros, which overlooks the harbour and offers traditional blue painted furniture and pergolas with hanging vines. The scenery is well worth a walk a long the bay afterwards. North of the island there is a specific beach that can only be accessed by a very long trail so not easily accessible by tourists, Skaphi Beach! So without a soul in sight your opportunity to privately snorkel with fish of all colours, shapes and sizes, will be a memory of a lifetime.
DAY
Nisyros to Kalymnos
A trip to the Dodecanese Islands wouldn’t be complete without getting up at sunrise to hike the beautiful surroundings of the Caldera. The colours of the dormant volcano here in Nisyros are unbelievable, where in some places you can actually hear the steam bursting at the seams! There are only 4 villages on the island, Emporia which is one of them is simply delightful. Stopping by Aporia, a charming green tavern, is offering not only incredible food but also fantastic atmosphere. Be sure to have walking shoes on to climb the 400 steps - well worth your while for the spectacular views of the ocean and the volcano!
DAY
Kalymnos - Pserimos
Kalymnos combines an amazing natural environment with a mediterranean mild climate. Guests will be instantly captured by the smells of wild thyme which is harvested there! Masouri is an authentic part of Kalymnos. Here you will find an ongoing project that started in 2018. The Kalymnos Experience, holds different types of activities such as caving, hiking and climbing. What’s more is that you can even pop in for a special yoga class on the beautiful rooftop and practice into the sunset which is both relaxing and nothing short of exceptional! This land is blessed to have remained unspoiled from massive touristic exploration and therefore visitors have a chance to experience interacting with local Aegean islanders!
DAY
Pserimos - Kos
Stop at Pserimos for a lunch at Aphrodites Cafe for the freshest calamari ever tasted! Located right on the beach with a lovely view of the bay, it is totally family run. The mother is the cook, the son is the waiter and the father is the manager, all ensuring the best possible service.
