About SHORE THING

Welcome aboard Shore Thing 115, a 35m Lloyds-built superyacht offering charter experiences along Australia's coastline. Originally launched in 1986 and refitted in 2025, she blends classic design with modern comfort. Suited to relaxed escapes on the water or high octane fishing adventures. Fresh from an extensive 2025 refit, the 34.5m superyacht combines everything you would expect from a luxury charter, including exceptional service, four ensuite cabins, alfresco dining, a forward jacuzzi and generous spaces to relax, with the equipment and versatility to experience Australia’s coastline properly. A 9m Gemini Waverider opens up secluded beaches, reefs and anchorages beyond the mothership, while the Ocean Beach Club, paddleboards, snorkelling equipment and extensive fishing gear create even more ways to spend the day on the water. And for those serious about fishing, there is SHORE THING 58. Pair your superyacht with the dedicated 17.7m sportfisher and head offshore in search of some of Australia’s most prized game fish, before returning to SHORE THING for dinner, drinks and another night on the water. Not fishing? That is the beauty of SHORE THING. Spend the day snorkelling the reef, exploring secluded beaches, paddleboarding from the Ocean Beach Club or simply enjoying the yacht while the anglers head offshore. Everyone can spend the day differently, before coming back together at the end of it.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
