About OVER THE RAINBOW OF LONDON

Best for: families with children, with groups of friends seeking classic character a close second.

Built in 1930 and still turning heads on the Côte d'Azur, OVER THE RAINBOW OF LONDON is one of the most historically distinctive motor yachts available for charter out of Cannes. Her 95 years of seafaring history give her a presence that modern builds simply cannot replicate, and Captain Tim Cooter, who has skippered her since 2018, knows every inch of her. With over 15 years commanding luxury yachts in the Mediterranean, Tim crafts bespoke itineraries ranging from hidden coves to the most glamorous ports on the Riviera, backed by a crew of five including Chief Stewardess Nicol Veronico, whose background in fine dining and boutique hotel management sets the tone for every meal and moment aboard.

She sleeps up to 11 guests across four staterooms, with a flexible cabin configuration specifically suited to two families travelling together. The water toys list is generous: a three-person jet ski, two Seabobs F5S, electric boards, wakeboards, kayaks, paddleboards, and towables mean there is rarely a dull afternoon at anchor.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
