MURAL SHIPYARDS
Serenity 86
About Serenity 86
Best for: families or small groups of friends, with couples seeking a relaxed Turkish coastal escape a close second.
Serenity 86 is a 26-metre MURAL SHIPYARDS gulet built in 2007 and based in Göcek, with the single most distinctive thing about her being a captain, Alpay Arslan, who has sailed and served aboard her since 2009. He came up through the galley, worked every station on deck, and earned his captain's ticket in 2020. Knowing one vessel that well, for that long, is rare, and guests feel it immediately in how smoothly each day unfolds.
She sleeps eight across four cabins: a forward master with a queen bed, a port VIP also with a queen, and two twin starboard cabins, all air-conditioned with private bathrooms. That layout suits a family taking the master and twins, or two couples splitting the queen cabins. A crew of four, including steward Mahmut who joined in 2013 and brings eleven years of front-of-house polish, keeps the ratio generous. The saloon seats all eight for dinner in air-conditioned comfort, and a flybridge adds a second social space above decks for sundowners over the Göcek anchorages.
