Why a 2 crew charter is the perfect choice for you...

What is a 2 crew charter?

Popular across the Caribbean and Mediterranean, a two-crew charter is a fabulous way to travel in comfort. You will have a captain and chef who permanently work onboard throughout the season, meaning they know the boat inside out and are able to provide you with the best experience possible.

It is a half-step between a skippered charter and a fully-crewed yacht charter, with a skipper to handle the sailing and a multi-talented chef who doubles as stewardess and deckhand!

The captain will take care of the sailing and teach you the ropes if you are interested. They'll also get the water toys out for you to enjoy, recommend the best anchorages and bays and guide your adventure towards the memory books!

Your chef will take care of all meals during your charter, and cook you your favourite dishes based on your preference sheet information. The team will also handle cleaning the yacht, to maintain a comfortable environment at all times.

The crew onboard S/Y Location told us:

"We try to make the yacht feel like home for the week, with a dash of something special!”

Benefits of a Two Crew Charter

A two-crew charter is the perfect way to experience a week of luxury on the water, in the most affordable way. A skipper/captain and chef will be onboard to take care of your needs, sail, cook, clean and make sure you have the most enjoyable trip!

One of the many benefits of chartering a 2 crewed yacht is that you will be able to embark on unique excursions.

The crew onboard S/Y Location told us "we try and tick every box that we can for guests" and that being every activity in the Bahamas is just unbeatable!

Chef, Lily told us that they "adjust what we do in the week depending on who we have on” to create a tailored experience for each group!

S/C Location

The Bali 5.4, S/Y Location is the perfect choice if you are considering a yacht charter in the Bahamas. She sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 double en-suite cabins.

The spacious cockpit and flybridge areas are perfect for enjoying al fresco evenings onboard with family and friends, and her main salon features modern interiors, seating area and kitchen.

Before you board, the crew will suggest a Zoom call to get to know you and what you are looking to experience on charter! Captain Nik says "We ask at the beginning how much do you want to sail and then we get guests to help out!" - so if you are looking to have a go, you won't be disappointed!

Meet Lily and Nik!

Former Below Deck cast member, Lily Davison will be your chef onboard S/Y Location. When it comes to her creativity in the kitchen, she enjoys incorporating fresh local ingredients and loves immersing herself in culture. She has signature dishes that are heavily influenced by her travels to Mexico, Italy, and Spain. Lily isn't afraid to merge local, sometimes exotic ingredients into her dishes. Making her style unique, and giving her an ever expanding menu.

Nik, skipper and mixologist. The burnt butter bourbon is his signature, he even makes the burnt butter himself onboard! Nik has a real love for the sea and the unique perspective that sailing gives. He is as much at home in the sea doing water sports as he is exploring the shores. You can expect him to uncover the local haunts for excursions ashore and dropping the hook in bays that provide the perfect backdrop for sunset cocktails.
