About ORCA

Best for: families with children, with groups of friends seeking water-focused adventures a close second.

ORCA is a 2017 Sunreef power catamaran stretching nearly 22 metres, and her standout quality is sheer water-toy depth: twin Seabob F5s, a Yamaha jetski, an underwater drone with 4K camera, sea scooters, a floating island with a netted swimming pool, a floating trampoline, wakeboard, water skis, kneeboard, towable tube, paddleboards, and snorkel gear. For a group that wants to spend every daylight hour on or under the water, she is genuinely hard to beat in the Bahamas.

Eight guests sleep across two master cabins and two double cabins, all with queen-sized beds, giving families and groups comfortable, private space after full days out. Captain Francesco Desideri brings 23 years of incident-free command and more than 180,000 nautical miles, including extensive Bahamas experience, so the itinerary is in confident hands. Chef Diana Parra pairs 15 years of fine-dining and yachting experience with a culinary style built around fresh, high-quality ingredients and strong hospitality, meaning meals on board match the quality of everything else. Six charter reviews confirm she runs consistently well.

Guest reviews

I would like to formally express my sincere appreciation for Captain Raul and the crew of MY ORCA following their outstanding support during the recent charter in the Dominican Republic.
The standard we were able to deliver throughout the program was made possible in no small part due to the daily commitment, professionalism, and proactive approach of Raul and his team.

Throughout the charter, the ORCA team played an integral role in daily operations. From provisioning and deploying water sports equipment to operating the tender for safety cover, their support was constant and highly competent.

Dietary requirements were a key focus throughout the charter, and Chef consistently delivered exceptional culinary experiences. He remained flexible with timings, attentive to individual preferences, and professional at all times — greatly enhancing the overall guest experience aboard ORCA.

Captain Raul’s leadership deserves particular recognition. He led by example throughout the expedition and was, quite simply, my lifeline. Regardless of the scale or complexity of any request, his response was unfailingly, “Whatever you need.” His calm authority, solutions-driven mindset, and unwavering support instilled total confidence from start to finish.

I delegated numerous responsibilities to the ORCA crew over the course of the charter, and at no stage did I feel the need to follow up or check on progress. Their attention to detail, strong work ethic, and genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience were consistently evident.

I would not hesitate for a moment to work again with Captain Raul and his crew on any future expedition. They are a credit to the vessel and to your operation.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
