About MURPHY'S LAW

Best for: groups of friends or families wanting a Florida or Bahamas base with serious water sport ambitions, with multi-generational groups a close second.

MURPHY'S LAW is a 37.8-metre Delta Marine motor yacht built in 1998, and her standout is a sky lounge that converts between al fresco dining, a sunbathing deck and a full gym with free weights, a stationary bike and a rowing machine. The flybridge adds a Jacuzzi and sun beds with shade, while a bow lounge offers a quieter retreat. Her 28-foot beam gives the four lower-deck staterooms genuine breathing room: a king master, a queen and two twin cabins each with a Pullman berth, comfortably sleeping ten guests looked after by five crew.

The water toy package is the real draw for active groups. A 31-foot Albemarle dual-console tender with twin 300hp Yamahas and a Seakeeper stabiliser handles fishing runs and beach landings with ease. Two wave runners, four paddle boards, a kayak, wakeboard, water skis and a full suite of towables fill the days. The main deck salon with bar seating and a large aft deck rounds out the social space, giving every type of guest somewhere to land.

Guest reviews

"I also would like to add how happy [Charterer] and family were with the charter. To say Capt. Lee and his team went above and beyond is a true understatement. She felt the boat was in great condition, the food was impeccable and the service was top notch. The crew even pulled together an impromptu Harry Potter Theme dinner based on the family watching the entire series each night – that level of thoughtfulness and attention to details is outstanding! Kudos to the entire MURPHY’S LAW team and especially Captain Lee." --Xmas/New Years 2021/2022

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
