About LYRA
Best for: families and groups of up to ten, with dive-led friends a close second.
LYRA is a 2021 Fountaine Pajot catamaran built to the model that shares her name, and her standout is a bow jacuzzi paired with two Gen 3 Lift Efoils and two Seabobs, making the water programme genuinely exceptional. Five queen cabins each have a private en-suite, individually controlled air-conditioning, hanging and drawer storage, and their own TV and sound system, so a full group of ten sleeps in real comfort without compromise.
Captain Brandon Fourie is a PADI Divemaster with half a decade in the BVI and a collection of lesser-known anchorages he calls his secret spots. Chef Arno Smit trained at the South African Chefs Academy and builds fresh, from-scratch menus around local produce, home-baked breads, and a quiet South African influence. Between paddleboards, wakeboards, a kayak, a subwing, a beach gazebo, and inflatable docks, the toy list covers every age and appetite. Eleven reviews confirm she runs well and books consistently.

Accommodations
Accommodating 10 guests in 5 Queen guest cabins, all with a private en-suite electric heads, a shower stall and sink/vanity.
All cabins have individually controlled air-conditioning for each cabins comfort. Four cabins are accessed internally and the fifth has its own entrance from the stbd aft cockpit. Each cabin has lots of storage space, both hanging and drawers, and their own TV and sound system. Lyra has luxury linen throughout, and reef safe organic toiletries are provided.
Crew cabins are additional to guest cabins. They are in the Port Aft cabin and Forepeak cabin.

We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. We wanted to explore the Grenadines and were blown away by the crew’s knowledge of the area.
The food was incredible and the deserts were out of this world. The kids ate everything, which surprised us as they are very picky.
The baot was always in prestige condition. Our cabins were cleaned every day, swim towels were fresh every morning and nothing ever looked out of place.
The crew have high standards of service and hospitality and make us feel like we were at a 5 star resort!

Asking the crew to anchor the boat in once place and use the tender for excursions was a big ask, but whatever we requested, the crew made sure we had.
Captain Brandon Stern tied us next to an amazing reef which we had as our morning view and also got to scuba dive.
Our bellies were always full, everything was always clean and we had the most relaxing environment with music, games, books and a very entertaining crew!
Stories were shared, friends were made and a lot of water toys were used.
We adore the Lyra crew and we recommend her to everyone!
