CIRRUS

About CIRRUS

Best for: couples or small groups of friends, with a multi-generational family trio a close second.

CIRRUS is a 2024 sailing yacht, brand new and purpose-built for crewed charter, skippered by Captain Erik Samuels, a Yachtmaster Offshore with over a decade of experience across the Caribbean, New England, and Europe. What sets her apart immediately is the crew: Erik and Chef Elizabeth are a married couple whose combined expertise in sailing and fine cuisine gives CIRRUS the feel of a private voyage rather than a charter.

She accommodates six guests across three queen cabins, each convertible to suit couples or friends travelling together. The master cabin sits forward with a generous head, an oversized separate shower, and ample storage. Two aft cabins share a second head accessible from both sides. Crew quarters are fully separate. Erik grew up sailing on Long Island and raced at USC, so guests who want to take the wheel are welcome, while those who prefer to simply arrive are equally well looked after. Elizabeth brings classically trained culinary skills to the galley, meaning meals aboard match the quality of the sailing itself.

Accommodations

Cirrus accommodates 6 pax in 3 queen cabins. Forward of the galley is the master, with a queen berth and a comfortable sofa. There is a lot of storage for guests and the head is large for a vessel of this size. The shower is oversized as well and separate.

Aft of the salon is a navigation station on the starboard side, aft of that is a day head and a convertible queen/twin cabin. The port side has a similar convertible cabin, and the head also has a shower which can be accessed from either the salon or the port cabin head.

The crew quarters are forward with a separate companionway entrance.

Good to know

We want to make sure you are well prepared and informed for your trip. Here are a few things you might want to know before you set off.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an amount paid to the yacht before your charter. It's a fund to cover expenses such as food & drink eaten on board, fuel and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, you’ll receive a detailed document showing how the APA was spent, and any remaining balance will be refunded to you. if in doubt about what is included, ask your HELM broker.
The Captain will let you know if you're about to overspend and discuss your next steps, which wil generally be a bank transfer to top up the funds.
We recommend (10-15% for the Med) (15-20% for the Caribbean/Bahamas) of your charter fee, which will be split evenly among the crew (it's a nice touch to bring a blank envelope or a thank you card in advance).
We'll share your Captain's details with you a few weeks before your charter. We can set up a group chat with your group and the captain to discuss plans before you go.
