About Aegean Schatz
Best for: groups of friends or couples seeking a classic sailing holiday, with multi-generational families a close second.
Aegean Schatz is a 32-metre wooden sailing yacht built by Yener in 2006, and her all-timber construction, cherry wood interior with mahogany floors, and taupe and beige upholstery set her apart from the steel and fibreglass fleet. She feels like a proper sailing ship inside, warm and considered, without being stuffy.
Up to ten guests spread across five cabins: a master suite, two double cabins, a twin, and additional berths covering two queen, two double, and two single beds. A crew of five, including Captain Ioannis Chatzimarinakis, runs the boat so guests do nothing but enjoy the sail. On the water, the tender, two canoes, paddleboards, snorkelling gear, fishing equipment, and a ringo keep every pace of day covered. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi round out the practical side.
