Swimming and Nightlife in the Kornati Islands

On arrival at Split airport, make your way to the port of Sibenik by taxi. Here you will meet your skipper and yacht and set sail at 5.30pm to the small island of Kakan. You will dine on board and spend the night in this wonderful natural harbour.

After breakfast on board your yacht, you will make your way to Kornati, a picturesque island full with excellent swimming and snorkelling. Then it is on to Vrulje, where you can rest up overnight and enjoy a locally caught fish dinner at one of the small restaurants here.
The straits between Kornati and the islands of Proversa and Svrsata are narrow and enjoyable to swim through.

Today, you will be heading to Telascica by way of Levernaka, where you will stop off to swim to its famous Lojena beach. It is a lovely place to anchor and although considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Croatia, it is rarely crowded since it is located on such a remote island. Next stop is Mana, with its 100m high cliffs and reef (a popular film location) and then onto the island of Telascica for the night.
Enjoy a magical dip in Mir Lake, a salt lake on the south side of Telascia. Its warm, therapeutic waters are fed by underground channels that run through the limestone to the sea and is set in a stunning location, surrounded by pine trees.

Heading for the Island of Murter, you will sail past the island of Zut as you pass through the Mala Proversa. The second largest island in the Kornati archipelago, its coastline is dotted with numerous bays and caves, where you can drop anchor and enjoy a leisurely lunch and swim.
Owing to its easy access to the Croatian mainland, Murter is a popular destination with visitors and hosts several music festival during the summer. Before enjoying a night out, be sure to check out some of its small coves, most notably Slanica Bay, which offer some great swimming.

After enjoying the nightlife of Murter, today will be mainly spent chilling and swimming. After a leisurely breakfast on board, you will sail over to the beautiful creek at Vragda for a morning of relaxation. Then onto the south of the island, dropping anchor amongs the small islets for lunch before heading to Prvic for the night.

The pretty village of Prvic Luka makes for an ideal spot to spend the morning relaxing with a coffee and enjoy the gentle bustle of island life. There is also a small beach, for a morning dip. After an early lunch on board, head off for Skradin. This small town is the starting point for the Krka National Park, a highpoint of the week for any swimmer, with its crystal clear waters and layer upon layer of waterfalls.
The Park extends along the River Krka and you need to take a ferry from Skradin and aim for Skradinski buk as it is the only area where you can get into the water.

This morning you have another chance to explore, the Krka National Park. Either head back for more swimming or just to enjoy the incredible Kradinski Buk Falls before mooring up at Lake Prokljan, one of the largest lakes in Croatia, and on to Sibenik for your final night.
Take the Skradinski Buk trail which leads you around numerous rapids and waterfalls. It’s a stunning walk and just over an hour in length.
