The Clients

HELM were approached by a production company to charter a yacht for the popular Channel 5 show, Rich Holiday, Poor Holiday.

In Episode 2 of Series 2 of the popular travel show, Hayley and Dessie spent a week cruising around Croatia aboard their luxury Lagoon 560 catamaran, booked through Peter at Helm.

The couple are able to enjoy a seven-day break from their children and relax in absolute luxury along the beautiful Adriatic coastline. As Hayley said, 'This is exactly everything that we pictured when we wanted to have some alone time to ourselves.'

Champagne Sailing

Sailing out of the large and gleaming Marina Kastela, just outside the amazing Split, they were expertly catered to by Captain Tomislav and Chef Becky.

Hayley and Dessie began their belated honeymoon trip in style with a glass of champagne as they boarded and explored their sumptuous master cabin. The luxury continued as they tucked in to an endless highlight reel of superb food and drink – as the show pointed out, on board the catamaran,“every meal is like a date”.

Activities included wine tasting at a vineyard along the route, visiting some of the most amazing coastal towns in Europe, and swimming in crystal-clear waters off the stunning Pakleni Islands.

“The crew are fantastic, we’re waited on hand and foot – everything is at our beck and call”

The Yacht

With 4 en suite guest cabins, Arctic Queen can host up to 8 guests. Air conditioning throughout keeps things nice and comfortable even on the hottest days.

Anyone wanting to take part in watersports can make use of the water skis, stand up paddleboards and diving scooters for endless hours of fun above and below the water.

The Route

For this trip, they wanted a mixture of quiet anchorages and busy waterfront towns with lively music and nightlife.

Peter developed a route that took in the best of the Central Adriatic, from the quiet Pakleni Islands to buzzing and bustling Hvar.

Picking the yacht up in Marina Kastela, they headed out to Hvar, before taking in the islands of Korcula, Vis and Komiza in relaxed and refined style.
