For a family holiday that combines travel, adventure and an opportunity to create special memories together, a chartered yachting holiday is an ideal choice. The other good news is that it doesn’t need to cost a fortune, you don’t need to be able to sail, and perhaps best of all, it offers you total flexibility and independence. We can create an itinerary that will suit you and your family, whatever the age of your children, so all you need to do turn up and enjoy.
To help you plan the perfect sailing holiday for your family, here are some useful tips.

The winds are light, the distances between stops are short so the kids won’t get bored and there are plenty of quiet beaches and secret coves to explore. The wonderful, turquoise Mediterranean waters also make for great swimming and snorkelling and onshore there are superb historic ruins, charming villages and great places to eat.

Having said that, we find that many families enjoy spending the mornings exploring the coastline, dropping anchor at midday for lunch and then spending the afternoons swimming off their boat and sunbathing on deck, followed by a delicious meal at a small, family-run taverna in the evening.
