One of the nicer large marinas, some of our favourite charter companies are based here.

A rocky mountain ridge runs along the back of Kastela, a popular charter base.

The town is full of traditional Croatian architecture, with terracotta rooftops.

The new marina is very modern, well laid out and well equipped, with an indoor pool, and a waterfront restaurant with glass walls, giving incredible views over the large natural bay.
